Marley is approved for both the Hanoverian Main Stud Book and Oldenburg Stud Book.  She is out of Guldenblatt and by Dominator, who scored very well for his jumping ability and is known for his outstanding temperament.

Marley is a lovely mover with no vices and nice manners.  We've owned her since before she was weaned and have her complete history.  She has a great aptitude for learning, is very curious and super friendly.  She has an absolutely beautiful expression and the softest eye.  You can see her development through the photos below, and she has matured into a well balanced mare.  She was started very slowly and correctly with hunter and dressage basics, but suffered a strained stifle in 2007.  No tears or lesions were detected, but she was not responding as desired to treatments during 2008.  Therefore, in order to give her more time to recover, we let Marley out on a broodmare lease.  She foaled a lovely filly in April 2010, Callidora, by the (now deceased) Holsteiner stallion Cabaret.  We look forward to hearing how this beautiful little girl progresses with her owner, Jason.

Marley is now back with us to resume her training.  We will consider offering her for lease as either a broodmare or riding horse to the right situation.  Lease with option to purchase may also be considered.
